Park Lane Nottingham Road junction

Highways engineers have been called to look at the bridge on Church Street, as I am told by residents that the water is close to the top of the archway, and still rising. If it gets to the top , there will be considerable ponding, and Church Street may have to be closed.

Residents from Dudley Doy Road have been out on Halam Hill clearing drains, successfully [so far] diverting the large amount of surface water away from Hopkiln Lane.
