Residents from Station Road and roads nearby have presented a petition requesting a pedestrian crossing on Lower Kirklington Road over to the Burgage.

Roads throughout Southwell and villages are certainly busier. As a result, concerns about road safety have increased, especially at peak times in the morning and late afternoon. The crossing at Station Road is a particular “hot spot”, especially for school children.

I and your other Liberal Democrat Councillors are supporting the petition. It has been presented to the County Council for consideration.
