Crime in Southwell November 2012

by Peter Harris on 12 December, 2012

PC Tony Hayes and PCSO Richard Dunn have reported a number of crimes in November this year. Crime remains low – and Southwell and safe place to live – but residents are alerted to these crimes. I hope that we can all work together to make Southwell and even safer place to live and work.

PC Hayes retires from the Southwell Beat soon – we wish him well for his retirement. As a short term measure PC Gary Sipson 0115 967 0999 ext 8563370 will be looking after Southwell Beat which is Southwell, Caunton, Wellow up to Sutton-on-Trent and Weston and all the villages between as well as his orginal Beat area of Lowdham, Gunthorpe, Hoveringham, Caythorpe, Gonalston, Bulcote, Epperstone, Farnsfield, Halam, Edingley, Bilsthorpe, Kirklington, Eakring, Rufford, Bleasby, Rolleston, Goverton, Thurgarton, Morton and Fiskerton.

This sounds rather a lot of villages to me, and I hope that we get a full time PC to the Southwell Beat as well as our second PCSO soon.
