Following my earlier note on the road between Norwell and Cromwell, it will be closed from 3 September 2012 to 22 September 2012 so that Nottinghamshire County Council’ s Highways Department can carry out repairs to culverts that run under the road between the two villages.

It is expected that the work will take 3 weeks. There will be a signed diversion route, but  pedestrian route through will remain open.

Following this work, other road repairs will be carried out to the west side of Cromwell, between Cromwell and the railway crossing. This will create a single lane, each direction managed by a system of traffic lights, and is expected to take place from 24 September 2012 to 6 October 2012.
