The County Council has introduced changes to the Bus services. Some of these changes were made before the ‘consultation’ with villagers was over!

One change – the removal of the bus through Caunton to Norwell as a regular bus and a move to a ‘Phone Bus’ is a particular problem, A local campaign has managed to get the 10 o’clock service to return to its usual route – although this has not been publicised by the County Council.

Problems with through ticketing from Egmanton and Laxton to Newark – now involving a change of bus in Sutton-on-Trent – have now been sorted out, after Peter Harris contacted the bus companies directly.
