Despite, during the last election, the Conservatives promising to keep the Fiskerton Tip open , it now seems that the County Council are determined to close it.
A statement from the County Council says that it still plans to close the well used recycling centre in 2012.
It seems that the local Conservatives have no say at County Hall – or they cannot be trusted to keep their word.
Liberal Democrats will be continue to campaign to keep the Fiskerton Tip open.
